Neighborhood Petition Drafted

Greetings good neighbors,

This morning a car hit a pedestrian who was walking with the flow of traffic and outside of the wood pedestrian fence along Driver.  This unfortunate incident highlights the need for improved road safety measures and has brought to light many other incidents and close calls that are increasing in frequency and severity as new neighbors move in and new drivers hit the roads.  We have created a petition requesting the City of Agoura and Lost Hills Sheriffs department take action before tragedy occurs.  We are hoping for installation of more strategically placed speed humps and bumps, a raised crosswalk at Lewis and Driver, and increased law enforcement presence to deter reckless driving.  Please take a moment to sign the petition and fill out all the requested contact information.  The city needs 60% of affected areas to sign the petition before they will consider the requests.
