Get the FAQs! Old Agoura Trails Master Plan

In 2008, the Agoura Hills City Council passed Resolution No. 08-1509, which created the AGOURA HILLS TRAILS AND PATHWAYS MASTER PLAN and stipulated equestrian trails be constructed throughout Old Agoura on public easements that border the streets. Following its adoption, the City of Agoura Hills funded, designed and constructed the trail on Driver Avenue shortly after. The plan was always to continue to construct additional paths where dedicated, yet the efforts faltered, and existing trails have fallen into disrepair due to unmaintained roadway edges and flooding. Recent efforts have called on the City to search for funding and push forward on safe passage for everyone on the equestrian pathways.
